Admission Prices

In 1905 when Fontaine Ferry Park opened, admission was free.  There were charges for the rides, games, Penny Arcade, and Hilarity Hall.  As the name decribes the Penny Arcade featured such things to do as watch a movie for a penny.  The movies featured a manual crank on the side.  The faster you turned the movie, the faster it would go, but the less time it would play for.  Hilarity Hall cost 25 cents for all day fun.  For the last 50 years of Fontaine Ferry, it cost 10 cents to get in for a full day of excitement.
